The number of tourists visiting Bali is going up and up.
Stats in from January to March 2017 shows 4.83 million passengers visited Bali, compared with 4.5 million in 2016 during the same period, according to Ngurah Rai Airport spokesman Arie Ahsanurrohim.
Based on the 2017 data, foreigners account for a little over 2.53 million of the passengers, while 2.3 million were domestic travelers.
“We’ve seen an increase in international passengers thanks to new flights from Qantas which opened a direct route to Sydney, plus several charter flights from various cities in China, such as Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, and Chansha,” Ahsanurrohim said
