Officials have announced
that all Bali regions have officially turned into a Covid-19 epidemiological
orange zone.
I Made Rentin, Secretary of the Bali Covid-19 Handling
Task Force, announced that as of Thursday (9/9), all nine regions in the
province of Bali had become an epidemiological orange zone area for Covid-19
transmissions. “With a total of 101,072 Covid recoveries, the risk of Covid
transmission in Bali has dropped, and they are now officially classified as an
epidemiological orange zone.” Rentin stated in Denpasar on Thursday (9/9).
All Bali regions have lately provided updates on
recovered Covid-19 patients, including Jembrana (30 patients), Denpasar (79
patients), Karangasem (14 patients), Buleleng (38 patients), Gianyar (96
patients), Klungkung (3 patients), Badung (82 patients), and Tabanan (62
patients).
Rentin was grateful that Bali had successfully reduced
the risk of Covid-19 transmissions, which had been on the rise in recent
months, particularly in six Bali provinces previously designated as red zone
areas: Denpasar, Badung, Tabanan, Buleleng, Karangasem, and Klungkung. Rentin,
on the other hand, recommends the population to continue limiting their
mobility and avoiding crowding in order to prevent Covid-19 instances from
increasing, particularly during the island's level 4 partial lockdown
implementation.
