Two chinese tourists were taken to Denpasar's Sanglah Central Hospital because of having flu like symptoms. They were tested for Corona Virus which came negative. This was announced by the province's top health official on Saturday afternoon.

“The result of laboratory tests on their swab samples came out negative for the coronavirus,” Bali Health Agency head Ketut Suarjaya told The Jakarta Post.

The tests for Corona Virus suspects were conducted at the Health Ministry's research and development center in Jakarta.

“Their conditions have improved considerably and they would be discharged from the hospital today. Their families have notified us that they would then immediately return to China,” he added.

The identified tourists as a 3 year old brother and a 6 year old sister. Both of the kids were admitted to  Sanglah  after displaying flu like symptoms on Wednesday night. They were rushed to Nusa Indah Pavilion, the hospital's isolation ward for highly contagious diseases by the hospital staff and they were swabed before for samples and administering medications.

The Chinese tourists came from Shandong which is a coastal province located around 900 kilometers away from Wuhan, the epic center of the corona virus.

Surajaya then also shared that a tourist from mexico was also tested for corona virus and was released out of the care on Friday after the tests came negative.

Remember that Chinese were the second largest nationality that visited Bali in 2019 with a number around 1.1 million.
