to bali or not to bali
I am one of those people who are not accustomed to concept of careful spending and are casually known as impulsive shoppers. It would have been okay if this habit of spending money was limited to grocery and casual shopping but unfortunately in my case it applies to everything. I once spent $500 on a stuff toy who i thought looked like a High Ninja Turtle, turned out it was just a turtle.
So coming to the the point of how careful decision and painful decision it was for me to weigh all the options and move abroad to a land of strangers. I have been blessed with the best all my life and never had any money troubles. I was an ace student, a good sportsman and later on turned out to be a successful businessman. However unfortunately i wasn't so lucky with my relationships. I wouldn't go into the details but i had a life changing experience few years ago and it made me want to leave everything i was acquainted with.
I have traveled a lot in my life and Asia has always attracted me because of it's beauty, simple life styles and pure culture. I wanted to move away from the city life but i wasn't ready to give up the luxuries either. I have been to Bali many times and it turned out to be the very first location that i visited after that experience. This time i decided to explore the hidden and true side of Bali. Rather than partying on the beach and the clubs i decided to introduce myself to the local culture, nature and people.
It turned out to be a life changing experience, in my opinion if you are looking to move abroad and still want to be in the center of every thing. Bali is just the place to be. I wanted a quiet beachfront villa but i didn't want it to be too far from all the action either. So ubud is the place which worked fine for me and yeah I am not the genius behind all this research. I was lucky that i ran into Kibarer Property's owner Alban in a casual discussion. He explained to me all the possibilities i have here, business opportunity and rules & regulations. Since he is a foreigner himself he explained to me things in a way i would understand. So like i said i am an impulsive shopper, I still gave it a week, did a little research on my own and found Kibarer Property's suggestions to be accurate.
So went back the next month, explored the options meeting my criteria and bought the perfect villa complex in Ubud. The fun part is i live in one of my villas while i rent the other two units of the complex for a steady income and trust the ROI is great. Plus the Hubud allows me to work peacefully while allowing me to meet great new people.
