A passport's power is one of the most important aspects of a person's international traveling experience. For instance, it determines which countries its holder can visit with or without a visa, or whether the traveler can at least obtain a visa on arrival — which can affect a person's budget and access.In its 2016 list of Global Passport Power Rank, passportindex.org, a site owned by global financial advisory firm Arton Capital, named the German passport at the most powerful in the world, as its holders are able to visit 158 countries without a visa, or get a visa on arrival.The Swedish passport follows closely on the list with 157 visa-free or visa on arrival privileges, followed by Finland, France, Switzerland, Spain, South Korea and the United Kingdom with 156.Meanwhile, with 24 visa-free and 32 visa on arrival privileges, Indonesian passport ranks 72 globally.
