Officials from the Badung Covid-19 Handling Task Force have confirmed that the rate of positive Covid-19 cases in the Badung region has fallen to 0.08%.

The Public Communications Coordinator for the Badung Covid-19 Management Working Group, Made Suardita, said based on the data, the positive rate of Covid-19 transmission in Badung was only 0.08 % Sunday (7/11). “On Sunday our positive number was only 0.08%, which means the number of Covid-19 cases in our region has dropped significantly,” Suardita said on Sunday.

According to the latest data, Badung has only one active case of Covid-19, 1 has died and 3 recovered. He also explained that Badung has recorded a total of 20,828 cases, with 650 deaths and 20,119 recoveries since the Covid-19 pandemic struck in 2020. Despite this good news, Suardita still reminds everyone to follow the protocols of prevention.

“We remind all residents to always follow government guidelines and prevention protocols, even though we have successfully managed the transmission of Covid-19 in this area,” Suardita concluded. In addition, authorities have done their best to prevent transmission of Covid-19 and are working to revive Bali's economy through the tourism sector.
