Kimia Farma Apotek, a subsidiary of state-owned pharmaceutical firm Kimia Farma, launched an online pharmacy service on Wednesday in a bid to ease access for younger consumers to purchase pharmaceutical products online.
Collaborating with GO-MART shopping service, the e-commerce platform named kimiafarmaapotek.co.id provides 900 stock keeping units (SKUs) of over-the-counter medications and cosmetic products.
“The online platform is made to provide easier access for young consumers to purchase our products, anytime, anywhere,” Kimia Farma Apotek president director Imam Fathorrahman said during the launch.
