Dubai-based airline Emirates is set to double its daily flight to Denpasar, Bali, by July 2, nearly two years after it launched the first daily flight from Dubai to the island, in a bid to meet growing demand for travel between the two regions.

"Guests will now have an additional option to fly to Dubai and onward to many destinations on Emirates' global network," a statement from the airline said on Wednesday (05/04).

Emirates uses Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Denpasar-Dubai route, with 42 business seats and 386 economy seats.

The outbound flight, coded EK361, will depart from Denpasar's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport at 4.30 p.m. and arrive at Dubai International Airport at 9.30 p.m. local time.

The return flight, coded EK360, will depart from Dubai International Airport at 01.25 a.m. and arrive at 2.30 p.m. local time in Denpasar, Bali.

"The schedule allows Indonesian passengers to connect domestically to nearby cities of Surabaya, Makassar and Lombok," the statement said.
