“Travel restrictions have been increased to protect our borders from Omicron variants. The quarantine period for international travelers has even been extended to 10 days, ”added Dr Suarjaya.

However, Suarjaya admitted that new cases of Covid-19 were detected in schools when the face-to-face learning started a few weeks ago. "Despite the implementation of strict prevention protocols and vaccination programs, some people are still infected with Covid-19 in schools, so we must test everyone with swabs to avoid an increase in cases", a concluded Dr Suarjaya.
