Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport has officially reimplemented Covid-19 testing requirements for doubly vaccinated domestic travellers.
Stakeholder Relations Manager at Bali's Angkasa Pura I Ngurah Rai Airport, Taufan Yudhistira, says domestic visitors who have been doubly vaccinated must now present proof of a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport.
This is in accordance with Minister of Transport Regulation Number 36 of 2022 last Tuesday (5/4).
“We have a slight change in travel requirements. Domestic travelers who have not received the Covid-19 vaccine booster are now required to show a negative Covid-19 test result upon arrival,” Taufan said on Tuesday.
Travelers who have recently received their first dose of the Covid vaccine must complete a three-day PCR test. During this period, doubly vaccinated travelers must undergo an antigen test at least 24 hours before departure.
Travelers under the age of 6 are not required to be vaccinated or tested, but must be accompanied by a companion who will be responsible for their compliance with precautionary protocols during the trip. “Tourists should remember to complete the e-HAC form in the PeduliLindung app before checking in at the airport,” Taufan concluded.
Taufan confirmed that airport officials are still operating Covid testing facilities in the airport area.
