bali traffic flow changes doesn't go as planned

As we reported earlier about the massive changes in the Bali traffic flow which was to be implemented from February we bring you a special update. The changes in flow didn't quietly go as planned.as they have reverted back to two way traffic flow on Jalan Kartika Plaza only after two days.

Officials have claimed that they reverted back to the original flow from one way to two way because of the people as they demanded it to be converted back because of the inconvenience they were facing.  I Ketut Werka, said many local residents living on Jalan Kubu Anyar had complained that traffic was diverting to their areas traveling via local alleyways to circumvent the one-way rule.

The residents of other areas faced a lot of discomfort and inconvenience because of the sudden change of traffic being diverted to their areas causing them to lose the comfort of living in their homes. However Traffic Police is defending their stance by claiming that this sudden change is only decided because it was a trial phase and the revert back was only conducted due to public demand.

Police however has requested the public that their only aim is to relieve the public of the massive traffic congestion in Kuta and they are looking for a win-win situation where they both get what they want. They have also announced that taxi drivers should avoid waiting for the customers on the road sides and regular drivers should avoid parking on the sides of road carelessly as they should always park in the designated areas.
