ULU CLIFFHOUSE: LOVE FOR LOMBOK - Saturday 1 September 2018

Aimed at helping our Lombok neighbours in need after the aftermath of earthquakes, Ulu Cliffhouse will be hosting a charity event this Saturday from 6am until late. In this special fundraising event, funds raised will be donated to various partner charities for the many who have been affected by the devastating earthquakes. There will be an auction, raffle prizes up for winning, a yoga workshop and entertainment provided, in addition to other fun festivities. So head down to Ulu Cliffhouse for a meaningful cause.

PHOENIX SUNDAYS: FASHION ON THE ROCKS - Sunday 2 September 2018 

Marking the first of many to come, is the Fashion on the Rocks event at Omnia Bali this Sunday from 11am to 11pm. Here, you will find a curated selection of Bali’s fashion scene with a showcase of both emerging and established brands from the island. Merging music and fashion, the day will be filled with disco, funk and house with DJ Ali Love headlining as the collections will be paraded down Omnia’s runway, with the scenic cliffs of Uluwatu playing host as the background.


GLITTERATI: THE EXHIBITION- Friday 31 August 2018

The photographic works of Robert Rosen will debut at Red Carpet Champagne Bar this Friday from 8pm and will run until September 13. Opened for public viewing, the photographs revolve around the behind the scene events of the international music industry from the 70’s up to 2000. Robert Ronsen is well recognized as one of Australia’s foremost social photographers and has recently debuted his book ‘Glitterati’, of which a personalized signed copy will be up for auction on Friday amongst his various other art pieces. All profits from this live auction will be contributed towards several scholarships created between Ronsen and the Bali Children Foundation which is aimed to creating educational pathways for disadvantaged Balinese youth that have exceptional talent within the arts and design fields. TOURISM CULTURAL GALLERY - Saturday 1 to Sunday 2 September 2018

Held in Melia, Nusa Dua this Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 9pm is the charity event ‘Tourism Culture Gallery’ which focuses on conserving the Balinese culture and heritage. The day will be filled with diverse activities conducted by local guest stars, encompassing the likes of photography, makeup and traditional art workshops, in addition to fashion shows and various other competitions. This event is family-friendly, providing a unique way to spend your weekend, whilst learning a thing or two within this creative environment. UBUD RUN 2018- Sunday 2 September 2018 

After its success in 2017, runners are again invited to this years Ubud Run held at Monkey forest. Hosted by Wanconvex and Running Explorer, the run is focused on integrating the beautiful natural elements of Ubud with the theme for this year being ‘Connecting your soul into nature’. There will be three types of racing categories available at distances of 7km, 12km and a half-marathon of 21km. Prior to the race, race pack collection will take place from 31 August to 1 September from 9am until 5pm at the Westin Ubud. In order to qualify, all participants must register via the website and collect their race kits which include their race t-shirt, BIB number etc.
