Last week turned to be great in terms of business and development in Bali. Marriot International chains of hotels successfully took over the acquisition of starwood hotels on the last Friday. The acquisition is said to have been done after the investment of US $13 Billion. It is the largest hotel company in the world with over 5700 properties and 1.1 million rooms in total 110 countries. Marriot International now has more than 30 brands, 20 out of which have strong presence in Asia.
Recent reports have showed that there is a high increase of French tourists visiting Bali throughout the summer of 2016. The percentage is said to be around 35%. First time in the history Indonesia has topped Thailand in comparison to being the favorite holiday destination for the french people. The number of french tourists visiting Asia has also seen an increase this year.
Indonesia promoted its famous national parks at the 7th International Unesco Conference on Global Geo parks. The conference was held at Torquay, England during 27th-29th September. The delegates will focus on promoting the following famous geo parks of Indonesia
