German DJ and producer, André Hommen, will be dropping his beats at Woo Bar’s Late Night Session this Saturday.

For over seven years, André Hommen has played an important part within the creative and administrative team behind Dennis Ferrer’s Objektivity imprint.

His well-received remix of Ane Brun’s “To Let Myself Go” made it into the Top 20 most-played tracks at Amsterdam Dance Event 2014.

His album, Battery Park, charted at #7 in Resident Advisor’s Top 100 Tracks of 2015.

His discography also includes the remixes on Fritz Kalkbrenner’s “SUOL”, Tensnake’s “The Walk” and Dennis Ferrer’s “Son of Raw”. [S]

Karma Beach will be welcoming legendary British DJ, Norman Jay, for the Upside Down party this Sunday.

Born in London, Norman Jay is attributed commonly to coin the phrase ‘rare groove’.

He established himself through London’s pirate radio station, Kiss FM, on which he presented shows alongside Gordon Mac and George Power.

In 1990, he hosted the very first legal broadcast on Kiss 100FM after winning their license.

He is one of the finest and most respected deejays in the world today, having been presented with the highly-coveted MBE medal by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, for ‘deejaying and services to music’.

In recognition of his achievement as a DJ, he also became the subject of a full-length documentary movie, Good Times: The Film, which is a semi-autobiographical about himself, his music and his influence on British club culture. [S]

DJ duo Solardo will be spinning their UK Techno and house at Jenja this Friday, January 12!

Made up of Mark Richards (MRK1) and James Eliot, Solardo have been carving their own sound in the house and techno market after years, previously being involved in other musical genres.
