Malindo Air inaugurated it's first flight on the new daily route on 31st March. The new route is a link to Brisbane-KL route via Denpasar. This daily route is a second destination flight in Australia including the flight to Perth. Malindo is a subsidiary company of Lion Group the Indonesian Air craft company.
“We are delighted to launch the only service between Kuala Lumpur and Brisbane, with a stop on the famous island of Bali,” said CEO of Malindo Air, Chandran Rama Muthy, as quoted by Bernama. The airline is aiming the target of 10 million passengers in 2017 with its growing popularity as recently stated by Ramdas Shivram, general manager sales and business development for Malindo Air.
To continue and achieve their target progressively and aggressively the airline is also planning a route which will open soon flying from Kualalumpur to Yogyakarta and KL to Lombok. The route targeted date is December 2017.
