3 indonesian beaches crowned as world's most beautiful beaches by vogue korea

Vogue Korea magazine, in their latest edition, recognized three Indonesian beaches among 7 of the Worlds Best Beaches. These are the secluded Tangsi Pink Beach on Lombok Island which gained the top spot, and, was therefore, crowned as the Most Beautiful Beach; the Gili Meno Beach also on Lombok took 3rd place, and the Tanjung Tinggi Beach on Belitung Island ranked 6th.

"We are very proud that Indonesian top beaches have been selected among some of the world's most beautiful beaches by Vogue Korea. Tangsi Beach, Gili Meno, and Tanjung Tinggi are outstandingly beautiful beaches that are absolutely perfect for marine activities and relaxing. The three beaches have terrific attractions and have frequently been listed among the most beautiful beaches in South East Asia and also the world," said Assistant Deputy for Asia Pacific Marketing of the Ministry of Tourism, Vinsensius Jemadu.

Crowned as the most beautiful among the 7 most beautiful beaches in the world, the Tangsi Beach in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, is more popularly known among tourists as Pink Beach. Being quite secluded, its crystal clear, calm, and shallow waters topped with outstanding green natural surroundings make this a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here, you can swim and snorkel freely without having to worry about sudden oncoming huge waves since the beach lies protected within a bay.

The Tanjung Tinggi Beach on Belitung Island is an exotic beach known as the site of theLaskar Pelangi or Rainbow Troop movie series, thus it is otherwise known as the Rainbow Troop Beach.Located in the Sijuk Sub-District, Belitung Island, Bangka Belitung Province, off Sumatra, the beach encompasses a total area of 80 hectares. Swathes of soft pearly white sands and fascinating granite rock formations spread in clusters across its shallow shore truly presenting an astonishing scenery, indeed a one of a kind sensation. Ranging from several cubic meters, these giant granite rocks can measure up to the size of a typical house. Some formations among these rocks even have short tunnels below, making this an exciting playground for visitors to bathe in its calm waters.
